Where work and play come together

“Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6

Our mission is to provide quality education for children in an age-appropriate and loving way, as we strive to exemplify Christ in both excellence and compassion. As a ministry of CrossRoad Church, we seek God for our strength, knowledge and wisdom. All members of our qualified preschool staff love the Lord and strive to serve Him by ministering to young children.

We are dedicated to the care and education

Our Educational Programs

Our teachers use curriculum approved by the state, as well as their own creative twists, in order to meet the educational and developmental needs of the whole student. In our 2s classroom, we focus on age appropriate developmental benchmarks each month. These benchmarks help our students to grow by involving them in songs, crafts, lessons, stories, and large motor activities . In our 3's classrooms we use Bob Jones Curriculum in addition to weekly Bible stories and lessons. Our VPK students are learning from the ELL Plus curriculum which meets the educational, social emotional, and developmental needs of 4-5 year old's. Our VPK children are also immersed in weekly Bible stories and songs. In addition to our curriculum, we have weekly Chapel time in which we sing, read, and pray together as a whole school.

Kingdom Kids Preschool is a Nut-free facility.

We are a Nut-Free preschool. Kingdom Kids Preschool provides juice each day with their snack. Students bring their own nutritious snack and a bag lunch to school. All student lunches must be completely nut-free and peanut-processed free, so please remember to check all labels before sending them with your children!

Due to students attending Kingdom Kids Preschool who have severe peanut and/or nut allergies that are life-threatening in nature, please be advised that we are a “NUT-FREE” Preschool. Under no circumstances can peanut butter sandwiches, crackers, cookies, or any similar peanut or nut product be allowed in the building at any time. This also includes cupcakes, cookies and other bakery items that are processed on peanut-shared equipment, so please check all labels before sending in any item. All items that contain peanuts or that are processed on peanut-shared equipment have a notification on the label, so please get in the habit of checking this ahead of time.

School Information

We believe children learn by building on the knowledge they already have – primarily exhibited through play. Teachers help children learn by creating a rich environment to explore via exciting educational activities.

  1. Image of the child

Teachers can then shape and build on that knowledge by discovering what children already know through observation, one-on-one conversation, clarification, and invitation to explore the world around them.

  2. Positive Discipline

Spanking or other methods of corporal punishment are never to be used as a means of disciplining students. This no spanking policy extends to parents with their own children while at school or school sponsored events.

  3. Environment is important

We like to work and play in attractive surroundings so our buildings are clean, relatively tidy, and pleasing to the eye. The outdoor environments are large, have colourful and interesting gardens, and a variety of activities.

Positive, Safe Environment – We are committed to providing an uplifting and positive atmosphere for our children and staff; a fun learning experience in a secure, safe, and loving environment.

  • Leadership – We are committed to lead; developing, monitoring, and empowering our children and our staff to reach their full potential.

  • Excellence – We are committed to achieve the greatest levels of excellence in childcare, in education and in everything we do; being highly professional, innovative, creative, efficient, and effective.

  • Respect – We are committed to building strong, healthy relationships with each other, our children & their families, along with the community through communication and understanding of the cultures around us.

  • Integrity – We are committed to carry out our mission.

We have a focus on recruiting and retaining quality teachers and offer competitive remuneration, good student discipline and relatively small class sizes

“We love Kingdom Kids! The teachers have been great and have challenged my son to improve his behavior and his education. They have “career” themed weeks, water day, seasonal lessons and of, course, faith-based programs. Their crafts are amazing (think Pinterest) and the Christmas and end-of-year programs are hilarious! They even provide you with a CD of pictures of your little one at the end of the year. Love you CRC and Kingdom Kids.”
