How does the Enrollment process work?
Registration for the next calendar school year begins in January. There will be information for this on our website when the date approaches. When it is time to apply, you will fill out a digital application on our website. Each application is submitted and time stamped. At the end of the week, you will receive an email if your child received a spot in our program or if they are on the waiting list. It is first come first serve HOWEVER we do have preferences for past families, siblings, church members and military.

Can I visit or take a tour before I enroll my child?
Yes, absolutely! We do not accept drop in appointments. You must call or email the school to make an appointment. We do not allow anyone in the building unless they have an appointment. This is for the safety and security of our staff and students.
How do I prepare my child for kindergarten?
There are several ways we work on preparing the child for kindergarten. We believe this begins in our 2's classes, in order to develop the proper foundations. Once they are in VPK, we focus on social, behavioral and academic building. These building blocks are imperative in order for each child to have a successful transition into elementary school. Our aim is the whole child and fostering independence so that they feel confident and secure in their abilities.
Kingdom Kids half-day programs?
Kingdom Kids is a half day program. The 2’s and 3’s class start at 9:15-1:00 p.m. The VPK classes are 9:10-1:15 p.m. We do offer Early Drop off starting at 8:15 a.m. and Extended Day that goes until 3:30 p.m. This is a separate fee from tuition and children in the 2’s classes cannot participate unless the child is fully potty trained.
Do you receive preference for past families or military?
Yes, we do show preference to siblings, past families, CrossRoad Church members, and military.
Who is Kingdom Kids regulated under?
We are regulated by the Department of Children and Families and the Early Learning Coalition.
What about transportation?
Kingdom Kids does not provide transportation.
How is Kingdom Kids different from other preschool schools?
Kingdom Kids is considered a school not a daycare. We have expectations for the students and the parents. The reason we operate this way is that we feel it better prepares the families for elementary school. Each classroom is structured like a regular classroom with a daily schedule, lesson plans, newsletter and calendar. In addition, each classroom has their own website that parents can visit. We have rules and set boundaries for the students because we feel it builds confidence, comfort, security for the child if they know what to expect in their environment. We find that the students learn better that way and are able to blossom and of course be themselves!
What role does Christian education play?
We teach biblical truths using verses and bible stories. We teach the children that God loves me, God made me, and God wants to be my friend. Children have an opportunity each week to attend chapel where they sing worship songs and hear the bible lessons. It is an introduction into a church setting. Also, the teachers focus on how Jesus wants us to be kind and loving to our friends and family.
